Brilliant blue former open-cut coal mine 5km west of Collie, filled with water in the 1950s. The intense turquoise comes from light bouncing off the limestone base of the old mine pit. No toilets, no bins, no shade — bring everything in and out, and the far side needs 4WD or a long walk.
